About the Owner/Operators of Little Green Farm

Jenny Scott and Tomasz Lipinski

From April 1st 2019 we will be taking over Little Green Farm Pet Hotel as our family business. After working at the Pet Hotel for a while this seems like a wonderful opportunity and we believe this is our true vocation. We plan to run things as they have been for the last 10 years but we will be adding our own innovations once we have settled in!

We have always had dogs and cats of our own - our current brood are enjoying the move and you will meet some of them when you visit our pet hotel.

We have been around dogs and cats all our lives but this is our first boarding facility. We will ensure it is accommodation of the highest standard - a facility for the 21st century for those owners who are commited to the philosophy that our domestic pets are truely part of the family.

We chose to design and have the boarding kennels purpose built to have complete control over the facilities. We recognised a need for such a facility in the South Okanagan and believe Little Green Farm Pet Hotel will be an asset to the local community.

We have always had dogs and cats of our own - our current brood are enjoying the move to a more rural setting and you will meet some of them when you visit our pet hotel.

Graham: I have a Masters Degree in Medical Science and a qualification in kennel management. I worked for 10 years in the field of animal health.

In addition to my commitment and interest in working with animals, I am a visual artist and poet; for a while I had my own gallery in Calgary.

I imagine a kennel for the future where pets are given space, treated with respect and, above all, are given love.

Julie: I am a PhD Doctor and Scientist who spent 25 years working in human microbiology and public health.

I believe we have a duty of care to our animals in the same way as we do to our human family.

Our own dogs and cats have been a source of great inspiration to me and helped me through the stresses and strains of an academic career and busy life in Europe and Canada.
